How To Order
When you have decided which tank you would like to purchase, whether it is a standard or custom tank, either email or phone us at Designer Tanks.

The staff will happily assist you with any questions or extras you require.
We will ask which tank you would like, outlet locations and any fittings other than standard.
Lead time for all tanks to be made is approximately 2-4 weeks.
Delivery will be arranged to coincide with your plumber if needed and it is recommended that the foundation be ready for the tank to be placed directly onto to save extra handling. It is then recommended that water be placed in the tank to cover the outlet to ensure it will be secure.
Inlet, outlet and overflow are located to suit the customer's requirements. These locations can be specified as follows: imagine you are above your tank looking down at it. The round tank represents a clock face. The top is 12, bottom 6, right 3 and the left hand is 9 o'clock (image displayed left).
For example, you can specify inlet at 12, overflow at 6 and outlet at 3, or anything in between.
The volume of the tank does not specify the size of the tank. Example: A 5000 gal tank comes in 2 versions, upright and squat, therefore we can custom build your tank in diameter and height to get your preferred volume. Please ask us for assistance.
The volume of the tank is calculated with the following formula:
Diameter x Diameter x 0.785 x height = volume of tank
Example: diameter 2.4m x 3.1m height 2.4 x 2.4 x 0.785 x 3.1 = 14.016kL or 14016L
Standard equipment on our tanks include inlet strainer, overflow sieve and outlet ball valve.
Decide if you want any extra fittings (listed on the fittings page) and advise their location.
